The decision to be a professional artist was something I never dreamed possible. I dabbled with coloring crayons and coloring books growing up. So how my reality has transpired is still a bit of a mystery.
Around 5 years ago, I started painting with water colors, specifically birds using traditional and Asian ink techniques (Sumi -e) and as I shared my musings on social media, the desire to buy my work manifested.
Over the course of the last 8 years; friends, family and collectors have purchased pieces from my newest collection of large oil abstract paintings. With this boost to my confidence, I felt motivated and joyful. To know someone honored my passion with validation and belief was everything.
I look forward to creating even bigger and more diverse pieces of work, furthering my personal growth as a business woman and an emerging artist.
It’s exciting to have a renewed passion for my art and have the ability to share it with others. I especially love creating art that brings a sense of peace into the space it occupies.
